Surface Laser / Pulsed Light Treatments

These treatments apply light or laser energy of specific wavelength to the skin surface and are another means of treating small varicose veins and spider veins. The results are similar to sclerotherapy. Laser treatment is appropriate for very small spider veins or veins that are resistant to sclerotherapy. Unwanted sun spots, age spots, and facial veins can also be diminished or removed with laser and light-based treatments. Montana Vein Clinic does not currently offer surface laser treatments but collaborates with the Bozeman Health Medical Spa for this therapy. We can also make recommendations for local dermatologists who offer this service.
